Hi everyone,
really enjoying the members site.
I would just like some help/reassurance that my macros are correct for my goal.
A little info about me
Just turned 20 years old, natural of course, I've being training for 6 years, however only in the last year I've started nailing my nutrition (before this I was young and naïve and didn't take the gym too serious). Anyway March 2020 till start of December of 2020 I was in a gaining phase, consistently eating 200g Protein, 350+ Carbs, 100g+ Fat, around 3,500 calories give or take.
Since December 2020 till now (March 2021), I've been eating in a deficit. Macros for this duration have been - on Training days 190g Protein, 250g Carb, 50g Fat. Non Training Days 190g Protein, 200g Carb, 60 Fat.
My start weight was 80.3kg I had 0 veins or shape. I now weigh 69.3kg 15 weeks later.
I've done 0 cardio, besides 10k steps everyday just in expenditure, I have had access to 4kg-40kg fixed dumbbells, adjustable bench, barbell with 200kg of weight, and a make shift high pulley system throughout these lockdowns, I have a logbook and stick to it...training is spot on (PPL variation), sleep is on point (8 hours minimum)
I'll fire some pictures in the comments,
Is everything i'm doing correct or does anything need tweaking?
Would you say my rate off weight loss is too slow?
Should I implement cardio?
Am I eating too much / deficit not enough?
Hope to hear from anyone with the knowledge - I'm trying to increase my knowledge and willing to learn!
TIA
Hey AJ,
Really appreciate your response. I can appreciate you're a busy man!
Thanks for the information. Really drives me to keep going.
I've attached some before and after pics from December till now in this comment. Unfortunately it is different location and lighting (normal spot I use is the gym bathrooms!)
If it's not to much to ask would Really appreciate some feedback. If you offer a particular service for this happy to pay!
Thanks again
Hey Jack Glad you’re enjoying the site! You’ve done a fantastic job over the last 15 weeks and the deficit created is more than enough. Equally the rate of loss is bang on too. Don’t rush to make any changes and keep pushing forwards with this phase
PS I'm 5 ft 6 and a half if that matters lol
