My name is Nibo, I'm a TeamMBM athlete from Puerto Rico since March 2019.
I'm currently 43 weeks deep in an off season to accrue muscle tissue, and compete in 2 or 3 years. I'm in no rush to do so, I know competitively this category requires certain level of muscle mass, and my goal is not to compete for the sake of it, but to deliver on bringing my best package.
The art of posing is something I'm truly passionate about, I enjoy losing myself and expressing my heart as a way to meditate. My inspiration comes from Muhammad Makkawy, Lee Labrada, Flex Wheeler, and Francis Benfatto.
If you're interested in watching me pose you can certainly watch my Instagram @niborosa
I will share a weekly update on myself, my training/nutrition, and thoughts along the way.
Hopefully you enjoy this journey :)
Week 48- Mini Diet Week 1
Hey guys, checking in again :)
Had a rather busy last two weeks, moving from places, and what not.
This week wraps up what has been a successful push up face, the first of many with the guide of AJ.
Starting Data:
151.4lbs
TD- 350C 200P 55F
NTD- 250C 200P 70F
Final Data:
170.8lbs
TD- 425C 200P 60F
NTD- 300C 200P 70F
Cardio: 25min on NTD (130-140bpm)
My strength levels have literally doubled on many exercises, my lower body was light years ahead of my upper, now we're bridging the gap. This will take some years I think, but I'm happy with the progress. I will post some pics back from February 2019 when I finally dared to apply to AJ (was so scared of being rejected).
I'm confident that on the next push up phase we will totally dwarf this version of myself. Now it's time to see the results of the work from the last 48 weeks, happy to see those. Will keep you posted. :)

Week 44
Had a rather turbulent week, I live in Puerto Rico and there has been some serious Earthquakes back to back since December 28th.
My nutrition was rather skewed, aiming to hit my macros as close as possible.
The macronutrient I struggled the most was protein, since I accidentally left my Whey and lean steak back at my apartment when I had to move back home after my building's integrity was put to risk.
Usually my protein comes from: Greek Yogurt, Iso100 Whey, Grounded Lean Beef, and Chicken.
Had to readjust my intake from GY to be able to get closer to my intake which is 200g, but was often impossible.
My training has been on another gym in which equipment is different from mine, limited in most except on chest supported rowing equipment (which I lack in my home gym).
For now I've been selecting exercises as close to my actual movement pattern from my Mesocycle #5 working with AJ.
I had some fun to be honest on a day or two, exploring new equipment but this week I'm being very selective, and attentive to my selection. I don't know how long I will be kept from my home gym, still I must create something great from this obstacle.
Here are some candid pictures from my Check In, one of my favorites thus far. In the yard of a close friend and training partner for now.
Week 43
Physique/Progress Update & Training/Nutrition/Supplementation
Thought I'd give a brief introduction of where I am right now physique wise, and what is the plan.
Bodyweight- 166-169 lbs
TD- 425C 200P 60F
NTD-300C 200P 70F
Cardio- 25min NTD
Currently training Pull. Push, Legs, Rest and repeat with two rotations.
This was a successful week, the goal is to start a diet by February time and lose some fat to see all the tissue we have put on together, plus resynthesize to food and training volume.
Supps AM- ACV, Glutamine
Supps Intra- HBCD, EAAs, Creatine, Taurine
Supps PM- Multi, Omega 3, Fish Oil
Changes this week- Two movements will be rotated for next session on Push 2, Nautilus Flat Press for Dumbbell Flat Press & Nautilus Overhead Press for High Incline Dumbbell Press.
These movements have been in the rotation ever since my first mesocycle with AJ, they have progressed a lot and they have certainly come to a stall.
Nautilus Flat Press 1,35x5 vs 2,32.5x8
Nautilus Overhead Press 1,5x10 vs 2,30x7
