I’ve had a bit of a back niggle a while now. Some days are better than others in terms of tightness and pain. My glutes and hamstrings are pretty tight, so that could be contributing to it.
The pain is nothing serious that I can’t train through and I’m seeing my Physio in the next day or two.
What would be more beneficial - rest till it’s healed up or should I run a deload? If a deload is a good alternative how would you structure a deload?
What is the niggle you speak of?
When does it hurt (in And out of the gym)?
is it impacting performance?
If it’s only your back that is affected then I would just rest your back but train everything else that doesn’t bother it.
