    Switching from RIR

    in Training

I had been with a well known coach training with strict RIR since November '18. I started to lose my passion for training and want to try out low volume/high intensity. I am at a place in my macrocycle where I would have implemented a metabolite block. Do you guys think it would be beneficial to keep the metabolite block in before switching to Low volume to take advantage of novel stimulus on back to back mesos?

You'd be very correct in saying that dude, run your metabolite block FIRST.

Also , don't sacrifice too much volume in favour for higher intensities, use this phase to learn how to train really really hard, but don't let that forsake some larger boluses of volume that WILL add up to create a hypertrophic response :)

Look forward to seeing your progress dude!
