My cardio seems to be depleting my legs. They look flat and stringy all day. Do you guys think cutting it out completely close to the show (maybe at peak week) will be enough time for them to fill out or should i start tapering down from like 2/3 weeks out (or would this just make me fatter)? Currently burning 500kcal in about 30mins on the stepmill ( without holding rails) everyday. I'm open to changing cardio machines if that will fix the problem but find this to be the most time efficient. Also intensity is quite high (average 175bpm); if this is relevant.
Training is currently Push Pull Legs arms (rest when i need it absolutely need it)
Cardio daily as stated during am in a fasted state
10k steps minimum
consuming about 1950kcal 200p 175c 30f
weighing about 154/155lbs and hoping to lose 2/3 more by 3.5weeks.

Thanks in advance
Hi good post arbor what’ heart rate or instensity should cardio Be done at on prep to ensure glycogen stores are not taxed to much I current ensure that I do morning go over 140bpm
Hey buddy, the only way to really find out whether cutting cardio will be beneficial for leg fullness is to try it...
It sounds like with the intensity and the option of cardio you have, it's very glycogen demanding, so essentially you will be flattening out your quads a bit. I see this in my legs at some times also. I'd just keep everything the same and cut / taper CV in the final week. :)
